June 1, 2016 began the migration of the first HealthPlus members transitioning to full HAP coverage. Please be sure to read the back of the member’s ID card to determine whether billing is sent to HAP or HealthPlus. Learn more about HAP billing procedures. Billing the correct company will eliminate delay in payments. If billing HealthPlus for the first time, learn more about HealthPlus billing procedures.

All current open referrals will now have an end date of Dec. 31. If any of your patients have an open referral, they will be required to obtain a new authorization with HAP beginning Jan. 1, 2017. HealthPlus and HAP are committed to ensuring that your patients’ care is not interrupted and will work closely with you during the transition. If you have questions regarding the transition of referrals to HAP, please call our provider services team at (855) 211-7766.
Now that the merger between HealthPlus and HAP is complete, we're welcoming members to the HAP family with a new co-branded ID card. The only change to the card is the co-branded logo on the front. Provider billing and contact details are unchanged. Please refer to BACK of the new card for this information.
