HealthPlus Lead Testing Initiative:

  • Many children are at high-risk for lead poisoning. HealthPlus is working with state and community organizations to make sure that all children at-risk get tested. HealthPlus recommends that all children be screened for lead poisoning at the age of 12 months and again at the age of 24 months. Those found to be at risk should receive a Lead Test.
